Since I was the "creator" of the files, in the sense of being the one who recorded them, I of course entered my name into the "creator" field of the meta-data, not realizing it'd end up in the MP3 and Ogg tags.

Is there a way to undo this? Do I need to re-submit the entries, or can this be fixed in some other way? Just changing it in the meta-data doesn't seem to fix this.

Jeez... I produced the VBR and MP3 files myself to have full control over the tags and whatever else, and initiated the replacement. And now the deriver is making a _64kbps, _vbr and .ogg version off each and every one of those files.

So... let's look at that rules-file thing, I hope it still works?

I really wish something could be done about this - it's a bit embarassing having my own name roll in people's media players as the artist... :p

You can replace the entire item using the 'replace item' screen:

There's a message there that the replace item isn't currently working.

That's only for movies.

Oh, OK. Thanks for the news! However is that message necessary there, then? You can't get to the replace page from movie entry pages in any case.

Suppose I were to replace all MP3 VBR files. Would the zip-file also get automatically replaced, or would I need to upload that separately?

The instructions say, "Upload all the files for the item (not just the ones you want to change) into this directory. Any files you do not upload into this directory will be deleted from the live item!"

Does this mean the deriver isn't ran again?
